poem " Take chances"

Sitting side to side, small space between us
I started to sing , my eyes on the stars
Drops of blues poured down my face
Unknowingly, you were gazing at me
Surprised by your compliment, a round of applause
For a few moments, i felt like a star
Shimmering joyously, the night's so bright
The sparkles dancing , a glimpse of light
Every sorrow seemed to be forgotten
For a little while, I was not frightened
Behind your eyes , I saw a million reason
Reasons to live, and yet, reasons to dream on
