My fate for the coming weeks is sealed: I will be cleaning up from winter, burning debris, weeding, digging and planting. Fortunately I love it! And the side benefit is that there is a lot of exercise involved.
Today’s effort involved pulling Creeping Charlie out of one of my gardens and preparing to put in a new border. (Which I may enlist hubby to do. He’s not big on gardening, but if I give him a task and point him in a direction, he’s very good at getting stuff done!)
Creeping Charlie is one of those weeds that is nearly impossible to eradicate. I can’t tell you exactly how it gots name, but at least the “creeping” part is appropriate. It travels along the ground putting down roots.
I forgot to take pictures today, so I’ll just have to share my picture from the garden store, as I had to show it to the checkout guy so he knew which product I wanted and that it was on sale. As soon as I get my garden border done, I’ll be turning to my raised beds, which need a lot of new soil before my flower arrive.
Thank you very much for visiting!!
