In Splinterlands, summoners will now be called "Archons," representing your role as a battle mage who summons units by imbuing themselves with their power. Archons, identifiable by a glowing rune, allow for elemental strategies and, with Conclave Arcana, bloodline strategies. The new edition includes bloodline Archons with the "Bloodline Dominion" ability, which allows summoning any unit of the same bloodline, regardless of the element, and grants powerful bloodline-specific enhancements, opening up unprecedented combinations.

Splinterlands presents three new types of Conclave Arcana edition packs, available in the game store and for trading on Hive Engine.
The Starter Packs, at 1,000 DEC or $1, offer 5 cards (1 guaranteed rare and 4 with a high probability of being common or rare), with only regular foils and no potion usage. The $10 Spellbook purchase includes five of these packs.
The Standard Packs, at 4,000 DEC or $4, contain 5 cards with rarity and foil probabilities similar to previous sets, guaranteeing at least one rare or higher card, and are compatible with potions.
The Alchemy Packs, at 12,000 DEC or $12, have the same distribution as the standard packs but guarantee one Gold Foil (which can be replaced by a Black Foil) and benefit from potions.
Finally, the Legendary Packs, at 24,000 DEC or $24, ensure one legendary card and can also be enhanced with potions to improve the odds of obtaining epic, legendary, or Gold Foil cards in the other four cards.
