While I was sitting outside today enjoying the sunshine and pleasant breezes, I took notice of the fence that surrounds the back yard. Now I see this fence every day, but on this particular day I took special notice of how many knots were scattered along the planks. So, I got my camera out and took pictures all along the fence. Hundreds of pictures. The photographs in this post are the shapes that stood out to me the most.
**SHAPES AND SIZES**
>These first few photos show a wide variety of shapes and sizes and I was just drawn to the beauty of their design.
**THE EYES HAVE IT**
>Many of the knots are paired and set close together, resembling a set of eyes staring back at you. I have taken the liberty of 'outlining' them to showcase that.
**LET'S FACE IT, KNOTS ARE QUITE INSPIRING**
>In a couple of the knots I saw more than just a set of eyes. The way they set on the planks in relation to the other markings inspired a bit more.
