"Zola is a film based entirely upon a crazy, adrenaline-fuelled Twitter saga. The first line of the movie promises a story filled with suspense and director Janicza Bravo gives us exactly that, with a lot of laugh-out-loud funny moments as well. Beautiful cinematography. Great music, even better sound design. Awards worthy performance from Taylour Paige and Riley Keough, they are so pitch perfect; it brought the final product to another level, with Riley Keough in particular really chewing the scenery. I wasn't expecting such a graphic depiction, which was totally fine. Overall it's a fun idea, combining creative, unconventional storytelling with impactful performances from its talented cast."
