I had headaches earlier because of lack of sleep. "Legalized" vote buying has been under way in our neighborhood because a "bagman" is living nearby. It was named as "legalized vote buying by some people because they described it as "ayuda". People flocked our area as early as 12 midnight according to my wife. I have a deep sleep that time but I was awakened at around 3am. What's annoying is they're too noisy, with some of them even do unnecessary shouting. We all hoped the money given away wasn't stolen from collected taxes. Anyway, whether they call it "ayuda", it's still illegal because it's vote buying yet the commission of elections doesn't care. Vote buying this election was done openly.
Sunday
I tried to be early despite being sleep deprived due to the noise of people flocking the area overnight due to vote buying. I prepared for our weekend meeting in sign language. After teaching our deaf students in the afternoon, we went to the beach for fresh air however, it was so hot.
Festivities Done
This place used to be busy recently but the festivities are over. Now, it looks like a ghost town. It's beautiful though because it feels so mystic.
