In my previous post, I shared how I solved the water wheel puzzle and opened the gate only to find out that there was a second gate, and I needed to go to the other side of the place to solve another puzzle and open it.

It was not easy to find the path, but I found it after a lot of searching, and it was through a gap in the water wheel, which was both hard to find and hard to cross. Cause it was moving constantly, and I needed to

When I reached the place from where I'd control the wheel, I was horrified to see what those monsters did to the soldiers of Trinity.

I was about to use the rudder to fix the puzzle, but before that, I had to fight a lot of monsters, and they were strong as hell, too. There were so many that I even died the first two times.

But there was an issue: the second water flowing path was not moving at all. I tried all the possible ways there are, but it was not buzzing at all. I tried firing and blasting it, but it was stuck. I even went underwater to remove the obstacles, but it was not helping at all.

But I figured it out after a lot of struggle. I needed to use the water from the first one to fall on the bottom of the second one to loosen up the rocks, and then I used my axe to remove them. It was still not easy at all, and it took many turns to finally remove them.

As soon as I unlocked the water path, a whole lot of monsters came to kill and stop me from opening the gate. Honestly speaking, the battle was not easy at all but I was able to kill them though it took 2/3 trials and finally was able to direct the waterflow into the wheel and the gate was unlocked and opened.

The gate opened, and I entered through it without any resistance from the monsters.

But, as soon as I entered the gate, they all appeared, and there was a whole army of them, and they all were saying the word "Patal". You can see the worried look on Lara's face just by seeing their number. Then, the character in the third image appeared. And she seemed to be their Queen or Leader. But, the thing is they were not stepping inside the gate, and it seemed like they were afraid of entering, and just then the gate closed.

Inside the gate, I found some ancient drawings indicating that the box was made in heaven and brought to earth to protect our world. And those monsters outside were protecting it. Those monsters and any false gods were prohibited to enter through the gate and reach the box. I get why they were not entering through the gate.

But, as I reached the place where the box was supposed to be, it was empty. Everything was shaking like there was a high-level earthquake, and soon, the thousand-year-old place started to collapse, and so did the gate.

The monsters outside realised the box was gone, and they were furious as hell since there was no gate anymore to stop them. A whole army of them was now chasing after me with their scary war cry.

I did not even think of fighting them as it was logically far more than impossible. And seemed like the story was supposed to flow like this. I would highly recommend you watch this part of the game. It's quite thrilling. After the chasing part, I was supposed to escape the place, but I could not as I had a battle axe, not a climbing axe. I can use the battle axe for climbing, but not in critical positions. They just couldn't hold on those situations, and I had no other choice but to quit for the day. I needed to figure out how to change them, as there were no campfires at the place from where I could access my inventory.

Honestly speaking, the puzzle solving part may seem boring to you as I was confused about what to do, and it took me quite some time to complete it. But you will surely like the battle and the ending.
