In my previous post of Shadow of The Tomb Raider, I shared how I got stuck on the very last step of escaping from the mountain temple, even after surviving an attack from thousands of monsters. I could not believe that I was stuck just because I did not have the proper gear to climb the mountain wall. That's why I stopped playing last time.

But this time, I figured out another way and found the proper route to complete this journey. And you'll get to see some amazing and risky climbing scenes in the gameplay. It's a short one, but I kept it short willingly just to keep this part separate. Also. There is a hard and long mission ahead, and I did not want to mix up everything.

There was another level on the mountain just beside my route, so I decided to jump over there instead of climbing up to see if I could find out something there.

Luckily, there I found the dead body of a soldier, and he had some type of special shoes made for rock climbing. I took those as they will be pretty helpful in my journey. Now, it's time to try the climbing part again and see if it works.

Those shoe gears were a lifesaver. I was able to climb up the cliff, and when I got up, I found another one of these weird statues made with human skeletons. Looks like it was meant for some type of ritual.

After a while, I came across this huge ridge, and crossing it was another puzzle, too. It's quite exciting how I crossed this one and I'm sure you're gonna like it. I died the first time because I did not know the proper way, and even after finding out, I died the second time cause I pressed "R" instead of "E" on my keyboard. Finally was able to complete the task the third time.

This one was even trickier. It was quite a long jump, and I had to throw my axe accurately to attach it to the rocks and climb up.

If you want to see some cool scenes along with the thrilling climbing parts, I'd recommend you watch this part. It was the last part of my escape route, where I had to dive underwater and come up on the other side of the mountain to the hidden city. This time, I noticed the piranhas before getting too close and escaped death by taking a bypass route.

After coming out of the water, there was a cave. I was sure to check the surroundings before I came out of the cave. I did not want any more troubles after everything I faced inside the mountain temple.

Now I need to hurry up and get up there and inform Unuratu immediately about what I saw and found out inside the mountain temple. This is the big mission that I talked about in the beginning that may be coming ahead, and it's high time that I get prepared for it.
