The Lazy, The Impatient, and The Ziellos

Are we, millennials​, the generation that is lazy, impatient and clueless about what we want to do?

From my personal point of view, yes we are.

But are we really?

Is it not because ​of what is left for us by our previous generation?
Is it not because of the advancement of technology that we are now presented with thousands of ways to distract ourselves from what is important?
Or is it because of parenting nowadays​ relies too much on​ a screen?

Finding something to entertain or distract us is so easy now. Boredom becomes something unknown to us. We do not know that time, repetition and discipline are​ what needed to learn a new skill. It is as if time flows differently in our perception. Annoyed once we fell the clock ticking without​ a purpose, we consume. Not only do we consume food, clothing but also data. We become so spoiled with packaged data that is presented to us in videos, internet memes, reddit post, and cat pictures that we do not care anymore how this data is gathered. We just gather and follow.
Maybe those are all the reasons and more.

Now, this would be wrong.
It is not we, but I am the lazy, impatient, and ziellos one.
I am the one who lost track of time, lack patient and walk aimlessly on this earth​.

Maybe it's time to find my way again...
