Me complace llegarme hasta esta hermosa comunidad para participar en el Reto Creativo "El arte que nutre: Bienestar a través de nuestras manos".

Les muestro una artesania que confecciono como parte de un hobby y que esta vez es el regalo para agazajar a mi hermana por su cumpleaños. Les cuento que hace algún tiempo creí que no tenía habilidades manuales, sin embargo me he desempeñado en proyectos donde he aprendido a realizar artesanías y embellecer los productos para que sea solo una pieza sino un regalo que enamore.

La realización de velas utilitarias, concebidas con la belleza y concepto de un regalo utilizando una cesta de fibra o una caja de madera rústica, me consume treinta minutos perdida entre colores, aromas y formas hermosas. Aquí les muestro el proceso donde estoy fundiendo las piezas de diferentes colores para luego unirlas y organizalas en las cestas

En un mundo dominado por el consumo masivo y los regalos prefabricados, hay algo profundamente humano y reconfortante en entregar a alguien un detalle creado con nuestras propias manos.

No se trata solo del objeto en sí, sino del tiempo, la intención y el cariño que se materializan en algo tangible. Regalar algo hecho por uno mismo es una forma de comunicación auténtica, un gesto que trasciende el valor material y se convierte en un acto de conexión emocional. 

Me gusta la luz, me gusta encender velas en celebraciones o cada dia, porque el olor a parafina estimula mis sentidos y reconforta las vibras para emprender el dia, Transitar en la luz, ese es mi slogan, siempre en la luz.

Cuando dedico horas a componer un regalo con velas o hacer un pastel estoy invirtiendo algo más que esfuerzo físico, estoy imprimiendo en ese objeto mi pensamientos y emociones. Cada ingrediente medido con cuidado lleva consigo la esencia de quien lo crea. A diferencia de un regalo comprado, cuya producción es ajena a nosotros, un detalle artesanal lleva nuestra huella invisible, nuestra historia personal. 

Además, este tipo de regalos suelen ser recibidos con una calidez especial. Quien los recibe percibe de inmediato el esfuerzo y la dedicación detrás de ellos, lo que genera una respuesta emocional más profunda. No es solo un obsequio, sino un reconocimiento de la relación que existe entre quien da y quien recibe.

En muchas ocasiones, estos detalles se conservan por años, convirtiéndose en tesoros sentimentales que evocan recuerdos y emociones cada vez que se miran o se usan. Terminan siendo parte de un recuerdo.

Por otro lado, el proceso de creación en sí mismo es terapéutico y gratificante. Despierto en la madrugada y paso horas componiendo corazones en colores. Mientras mis manos trabajan, mi mente se enfoca en la persona a la que daré el regalo, imaginando su reacción y sintiendo la anticipación de su felicidad.

Este acto de entrega, incluso antes de materializarse, ya me llena de satisfacción. Es un recordatorio de que el verdadero valor de un regalo no está en su precio, sino en el amor y la intención con que se ofrece. 

En definitiva, regalar algo hecho con nuestras manos es un acto de generosidad pura. Es una manera de decir: "Pensé en ti, dediqué mi tiempo a ti y quise hacer algo único para ti". En un mundo cada vez más acelerado y despersonalizado, estos pequeños gestos artesanales son un refugio de humanidad, una forma de mantener viva la magia de lo auténtico y lo hecho con el corazón. 

Esta cesta con velas utilitarias y decorativas para mi hermana, quedan como un sello en mi corazon.

Al final, quizás la mayor satisfacción no sea solo ver la sonrisa de ella, sino hacerle saber que, en ese objeto humilde pero lleno de significado, le dejo un pedacito de mi y un poco de luz para iluminar su camino.

I'd like to tell you that some time ago I thought I lacked manual skills, and I'm not exactly on par with illustrious artisans and artists, but I've worked on projects where I've learned to make crafts and embellish products so that the public doesn't just receive a piece, but a gift they'll love.

Making utilitarian candles, conceived with the beauty and concept of a gift using a fiber basket or a rustic wooden box, takes me thirty minutes, lost among colors, scents, and beautiful shapes. Here I show you the process of melting the pieces of different colors, then joining them together and arranging them in the baskets.

In a world dominated by mass consumption and prefabricated gifts, there's something deeply human and comforting about giving someone a gift created with our own hands. It's not just about the object itself, but about the time, intention, and love that materialize into something tangible. Giving something you've made yourself is a form of authentic communication, a gesture that transcends material value and becomes an act of emotional connection.

I love light. I like to light candles for celebrations or every day, because the scent of paraffin stimulates my senses and comforts my vibes to start the day. Walking in the light, that's my motto, always in the light. When I spend hours composing a gift with candles or baking a cake, I'm investing more than just physical effort; I'm imprinting my thoughts and emotions on that object.

Each carefully measured ingredient carries the essence of its creator. Unlike a store-bought gift, whose production is beyond our control, a handcrafted gift bears our invisible imprint, our personal story.

Furthermore, these types of gifts are often received with special warmth. The recipient immediately perceives the effort and dedication behind them, which generates a deeper emotional response. It's not just a gift, but a recognition of the relationship between the giver and the recipient.

Often, these gifts are kept for years, becoming sentimental treasures that evoke memories and emotions every time they are looked at or used. They end up becoming part of a memory.

On the other hand, the creation process itself is therapeutic and rewarding. I wake up in the early morning and spend hours composing colorful hearts. While my hands work, my mind focuses on the person I will give the gift to, imagining their reaction and feeling the anticipation of their happiness.

This act of giving, even before it materializes, already fills me with satisfaction. It's a reminder that the true value of a gift lies not in its price, but in the love and intention with which it is offered.

Ultimately, giving something made with our own hands is an act of pure generosity. It's a way of saying: "I thought of you, I dedicated my time to you, and I wanted to make something unique for you." In an increasingly fast-paced and depersonalized world, these small artisanal gestures are a refuge of humanity, a way to keep alive the magic of authenticity and heartfelt gifts. This basket of utilitarian and decorative candles for my sister remains a seal in my heart.

In the end, perhaps the greatest satisfaction is not just seeing her smile, but letting her know that, in that humble but meaningful object, I leave a little piece of myself and a little light to illuminate her path.
