Saludos querida comunidad, en las anteriores publicaciones les he compartido mis trabajos de colgantes con forma de mini gorro navideño para adornar el árbol de navidad, como tenía unos pompones de color negro estuve un tiempo pensando que diseños podría elaborar que encajaran con la temática, así que a mi mente vino uno de mis personajes favoritos “Jack Skellintong”, una figura que no podía faltar tanto en los adornos navideños como en los de Halloween, porque precisamente esta película combina ambas festividades de una forma muy genial, espero a ustedes les guste 😊
Greetings dear community! In previous posts, I shared my mini Christmas hat ornaments for the Christmas tree. Since I had some black pom-poms, I spent some time thinking about what designs I could make that would fit the theme. Then one of my favorite characters, "Jack Skellington," came to mind—a figure that couldn't be missing from both Christmas and Halloween decorations, because this movie combines both holidays in a really cool way. - Hilo acrílico: verde, negro, blanco y rojo.
- Dos agujas para tejer de 2 mm
- Aguja de ojal grande
- Un pompón de tela de peluche
- Hilo y aguja para coser
- Una cuenta
- Tijera

- Two 2 mm knitting needles
- Large eyelet needle
- One plush fabric pom-pom

Proceso / Process
Lo primero que hice fue precisamente buscar una imagen de referencia para el patrón, dibujé la imagen en la aplicación Pixel Station, sobre un lienzo de 21 x 21 cuadros, pinté con las herramientas pincel y bote de pintura la áreas del dibujo seleccionando el color correspondiente para cada cuadro.
The first thing I did was precisely to look for a reference image for the pattern, I drew the image in the Pixel Station application, on a canvas of 21 x 21 squares, I painted the areas of the drawing with the brush and paint bucket tools selecting the corresponding color for each square.

Para hacer el gorro del color base, monté 36 puntos en la aguja más 2 puntos de orillo, en todas las vueltas el primer punto de orillo se pasa a la aguja al derecho sin tejer y el último punto se teje al derecho. Tejí las primeras 4 vueltas con puntos al derecho y las siguientes 24 vueltas con punto jersey, el punto jersey se hace tejiendo todos los puntos al derecho en las hileras del frente y todos los puntos al revés en las hileras de atrás. Luego hice 6 disminuciones por 5 hileras para obtener solo 6 puntos más los 2 de orillo (las disminuciones se hacen al tejer dos puntos juntos), luego cerré los puntos en forma circular con ayuda de la aguja de ojal grande.
To make the hat in the base color, I cast on 36 stitches plus 2 edge stitches. On every row, the first edge stitch is slipped purlwise and the last stitch is knit. I knitted the first 4 rows in knit stitch and the next 24 rows in stockinette stitch. Stockinette stitch is worked by knitting all stitches on the front rows and purling all stitches on the back rows. Then I made 6 decreases for 5 rows to obtain only 6 stitches plus the 2 edge stitches (decreases are made by knitting two stitches together). Finally, I bound off in the round using a large-eye needle.

Enhebrando la aguja de ojal grande hice el dibujo siguiendo el patrón en la técnica de punto duplicado, en esta técnica la aguja entra de atrás hacia adelante en la punta de debajo de V que forma el punto, luego pasa por las dos puntas de arriba de la V y se vuelve a sacar la aguja por donde entró, de ese modo los puntos se van duplicando y creando la figura.
Threading the large-eye needle, I made the drawing following the pattern in the double stitch technique. In this technique, the needle enters from back to front in the lower point of the V that forms the stitch, then passes through the two upper points of the V and the needle is brought out again where it entered, thus doubling the stitches and creating the figure.

Con la aguja de ojal grande y el mismo hilo verde cerré el lateral del gorro, luego cosí el pompón con hilo y aguja de coser, hice un ojal con el mismo hilo verde y lo anudé con una cuenta.
Using the large eyelet needle and the same green thread, I closed the side of the hat, then I sewed the pompom with thread and a sewing needle, made a buttonhole with the same green thread and knotted it with a bead.
