La mañana del 27 de diciembre se vistió de esperanzas, la Catedral de nuestra ciudad, abrió las puertas para recibir a decenas de personas que viven en condiciones vulnerables, para efectuar la cena de Navidad. Esta iniciativa, convocada por el grupo de jóvenes católicos de Pinar del Río y por la Comunidad San Egidio, fue muy bien acogida.
Y ante el llamado a cooperar con comidas, dinero o lo que pudieran, acudió mucha gente de muy buena voluntad. Fue una jornada llena de amor, solidaridad y respeto al prójimo. Hago este post para agradecer a todos los que brindaron su ayuda. Y también para agradecer a todos los jóvenes (y no tan jóvenes) que trabajaron desinteresadamente en estas jornadas.
