Silent are the birds
On this solemn night
Looming, the clouds dark
Amidst the twilight sky

Gracefully the moon takes to flight
And the men worship at its sight
When the night is dark
And the hearts a-cold
The critters no longer chirp
Our hearts trot on (strong)
Far-flung, our thoughts afloat
Churning atop the beds lope
Presence a-loom the walrus moan

For when the dawn breakth
In lukewarm light creations a-bathe
The sirens herald the advent of days anew
And anew we must be too
If hope be dawn
And dawn be hope
Then dawn shall always be
For at the tunnel’s end
Tomorrow awaits
And shall await
Ceaselessly
