스팀(Steem)블록체인의 첫번째 SMT 이자 Dapp 인 애픽스의 관심은 여전히 뜨겁습니다. 관련 카카오 채팅 그룹을 운영하고 있지만, 항상 정원이 가득차 새로운 분들이 들어오시기란 하늘의 별따기이기도 합니다. 여튼 관련 그룹에서 가장 많이 다뤄지는 주제 중 하나인 "애픽스와 스티밋"의 차이점에 대해 애픽스 팀의 공식 정리 내용을 공유하고자 합니다.

애픽스와 스티밋의 가장 큰 차이점

  • 스티밋이 웹 브라우저 기반이라면 애픽스는 모바일 어플리케이션이 될 것이다. 애픽스 앱은 간편함과 사용자 경험에 초점을 맞춘다. 스티밋의 모바일 버전이 출시된다고 해도 애픽스는 사용자 경험을 최우선시 하기에 스티밋과는 뚜렷하게 구분될 것이다.

  • 스티밋이 텍스트(블로그 포스팅)에 집중한다면 애픽스는 사진과 비디오 등의 시각적 컨텐츠에 초점을 맞춘다.

  • 스티밋이 오직 태그에 의해 컨텐츠를 조직화한다면 애픽스는 패션부터 스포츠, 테크놀로지 등을 아우르는 15개의 서로 다른 컨텐츠 카테고리를 갖게 될 것이다.

  • 모든 카테고리에는 저지 팀이 존재한다. 이들 저지들은 소셜 미디어의 인플루언서이자 그들 분야의 전문가다. 이 저지들은 큰 보팅 무게를 가지고 자신들의 카테고리에서 훌륭한 컨텐츠에 보상을 부여한다. 스티밋에서는 고래들이 많은 보팅 무게를 가지고 있다. 이들은 랜덤으로 보팅하는 투자자이며, 개인들이다.

  • 애픽스는 앱 생태계 내부에 상인들이 직접 물건과 서비스를 제공하는 통합된 샵 시스템을 운영하며 유저들은 XAP 를 통해 이들을 구입할 수 있다.

These are the main differences between APPICS and Steemit :

  • APPICS will be a mobile application, while steemit is browser based. The app will be focused on simplicity and user experience. Even if Steemit comes out with a mobile version, there are still significant differences to APPICS, as we really put the user experience first.

  • APPICS is focused on visual content like photos and videos, while steemit is focused on text (blogposts)

  • APPICS will have a system with 15 different content categories, ranging from fashion to sports to technology, while content on steemit is only organized in tags

  • For every category, there will be a team of judges. Those judges are social media influencers and experts in their field. These judges will have a large voting weight and will be able to reward excellent content in their category.

  • On steemit, the ones with the large vorting weight are the whales - these are investors / private users who just vote at random.

  • APPICS will have an integrated shop system where merchants can offer services and users can buy products with their XAP tokens
