Today I want to talk about a series that my partner recommended to me and that I really liked and I have already seen it 3 times, as you can see in the title of the post, my recommendation today is Sherlock (2010).

Hoy quiero hablar de una serie que me la recomendó mi pareja y que me ha gustado mucho y ya la he visto completa unas 3 veces, como pueden ver en el titulo del post, mi recomendación de hoy es Sherlock (2010).
The British series Sherlock, created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, is a modern adaptation of the iconic Sherlock Holmes stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. First aired in 2010, Sherlock transports the famous detective to contemporary London, fusing the classic narrative with a modern-day setting and technology, or well, 2010 technology. The series features Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Dr. John Watson, who in my opinion were perfect in bringing these characters to life.
La serie británica Sherlock, creada por Steven Moffat y Mark Gatiss, es una adaptación moderna de las icónicas historias de Sherlock Holmes escritas por Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Emitida por primera vez en 2010, Sherlock transporta al famoso detective al Londres contemporáneo, fusionando la narrativa clásica con una ambientación y tecnología actuales, o bueno, tecnología de 2010. La serie cuenta con Benedict Cumberbatch como Sherlock Holmes y Martin Freeman como el Dr. John Watson, quienes en mi opinión quedaron perfectos dando vida a estos personajes.

For example, instead of sending telegrams, Sherlock and Watson use smartphones and laptops, which adds a layer of relevance and realism to their adventures. Sherlock's London is vibrant and multifaceted, and the cinematography is notable for its visual stylization. Viewers are transported through the city streets, from the elegant neighborhoods of Baker Street to the darker corners where criminals lurk. This visual representation not only sets the tone for the series, but also reinforces the mysterious and sometimes grim atmosphere of its stories.

As you may have noticed, I highly recommend this series, it has 4 seasons of 3 episodes each, so you can start and finish watching in a weekend.
