Bookmarks are lifesavers or “booksavers .” They make reading fun, organized, and seamless.
As a reader, bookmarks are very important, despite being small and lightweight, they make a significant impact on our reading experience.
Bookmarks are supposed to be simple and lightweight to enable easy flipping of pages without feeling any form of obstruction in between the pages.
I made a flower bookmark today, super easy, fast, colourful, and beginner-friendly.
To make this beautiful crochet bookmark, I used the following materials and followed the steps below.

Yarn
Crochet hook
Scissors
Terminologies
CH— Chain
SL— Slip Stitch
SC— Single Crochet
DC— Double Crochet
HDC— Half Double Crochet
Tr— Triple Crochet
Procedure
Step 1:
Begin your bookmark by making a magic circle. To make the petals of your flower bookmark, chain 3, make 2tr, chain 3, and slip stitch at the center of the circle.
Step 2:
Begin the second petal of your flower by making 3ch and repeat step 1. Continue with this pattern until your five petals are complete.
Step 3:
Make 52 chains or as many chains as you can, your number of chains will help determine the length of your bookmark.
Step 4:
Proceed to make the leaf of your bookmark, paying attention to your stitches so as not to alter the shape of your leaf.
Step 5:
Attach your pearl bead, put some finishing touches, and voila! Your crochet bookmark is ready.
This is a very easy project and crochet beginners can make it with ease.
