Generally, how you interact with other people in life will determine how they feel about you. As someone under the care of the parents, your manner of approach towards them, and your ability to follow their instruction properly could make you distinct from your siblings. When the parent is not happy with the child, it doesn't necessarily mean that they hate that child however, they are angry that their efforts in moulding the child is not yielding fruit.
As someone who is under care of parents or guidance you should be in good standing always with the hand that feeds you. When Jacob understood that his twin brother spited him, he did not just fold arms to watch. He quickly acted to regain the brothers love for him. How did he do this? He gave his brother Esau a very big gift which made his brother let go of any hate for Jacob. This act of gifting can be employed when dealing with parents or even everyother person.
**● Genesis 32:13 (KJV):**
13. And he lodged there that same night; and took of that which came to his hand a present for Esau his brother;
14. Two hundred she goats, and twenty he goats, two hundred ewes, and twenty rams,
Now it doesn't stop at giving gift because if you gave you parents gift, and still continued in your old ways, then they would know that you are not a chamged person. However, you can also start to change your ways and start listening to them more. Apostle paul did something similar when he was preaching the gospel. He would come down to the level of the people he was preaching to. This in turn made them comfortable and gave him listening ears.
**● 1 Corinthians 9:20-22 (KJV):**
20. And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
21. To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
22. To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
Lastly, always put your parents in prayers. This is very necessary and they surely are putting you in their prayers too. It is an important thing to do before embarking on any mission or quest.
