Este tema trajo a mi mente anécdotas muy divertidas y otras no tanto, porque esos duendecillos que habitan en nuestra mente a veces nos distraen y zas! nos pasan unas cosas…me he reído después sin parar, yo sola, pero hay otras que no me traen nada de alegría. Y es que, eso me hizo recordar mis tiempos universitarios, cuando vivía en una residencia con otras estudiantes y me pasaba que ponía el arroz en la cocina y al rato venía alguien a decirme “el arroz se te va a cocinar ahorita, jaja”, era porque lo ponía a cocinar sin prender la cocina. Yo y mis despistes, que he tratado de corregir, pero de vez en cuando sigue pasando, veo el arroz igual y le echo la culpa a la cocina eléctrica porque es más lenta quela de gas, pero no, fue que había olvidado prenderla, y lo peor, es que tenía que salir y debo retrasar mi salida por ese bendito despiste mío.

Lo mismo me pasa cuando voy a cargar la laptop y el celular, sino es que le pongo el cargador a la laptop pero no la enchufo a la corriente, es al revés y cuando creo que se cargó, es al contario, se terminó de descargar o me extraña ver que el porcentaje de carga va disminuyendo en lugar de aumentar. Con el celular es igual, como siempre le quito la funda para cargarlo, resulta que en lugar de ponerlo a cargar me distraigo viendo redes sociales y después lo dejo en el mueble, al rato lo voy a buscar pensando que ya está cargado, que cosas.

Hace años, estando en el colegio, tenía yo como 12 años, estaba buscando a una compañera llamada “Yaquelis”, no recuerdo para que era, pero sí que me urgía encontrarla. Entonces, comencé a preguntar por ella a todo el que veía, era tanta mi desesperación, que luego me di cuenta que le pregunté a gente que no la conocía, pero claro, al momento no me percaté de ello porque al igual que el resto que sí la conocía, algunos contestaron “no”, pero otros se quedaban callados y me veían extrañados. La semana pasada me paso otro episodio, estaba apurada en agarrar puesto en la camioneta de la empresa que nos llevaría a casa, estaba desesperada porque había mucha gente y temía quedarme sin puesto. Entonces, me dispuse a entregarle el morral a mi jefe y le dije al chofer “un momento señor” pesando que podía arrancar y cuando me doy cuenta, en el puesto del chofer no había nadie, y por supuesto, eso desató algunas risas, yo me moría de la pena, pensando “que locura la mía.”

El mes pasado estaba buscando algo en el carro y puse a todos a ayudarme a buscarlo, luego alguien dijo “lo guardaste en la cartera”, yo dije que no, pero como me insistió lo busqué, y sí, si estaba ahí, todos se rieron. Un tarde que se fue la luz en casa, me fui al baño que es oscuro a cualquier hora con el teléfono, un bombillo recargable y los lentes, cuando salí puse todo en el piso y me distraje haciendo otras cosas, luego, cuando fui al baño, pisé con todo mi peso los lentes para leer, solo se deformó la montura. Casi lloro, tuve que salir corriendo a la óptica, no los pudieron reparar, así que tuve que comprar otra montura, afortunadamente los cristales quedaron intactos.

Otra anécdota que había olvidado fue la vez que andaba con mi jefe y escribí un mensaje “tiene cara de perro” y que aparece el duendecillo y me confunde, en lugar de enviárselo a un amigo se lo envié a mi jefe. Ya me había extrañado que mi amigo no me contestara. Eso sí me asustó, me podían despedir, pero gracias a Dios no pasó nada, mi jefe no tomó represarías.

Esta ha sido algunas malas pasadas de los duendes que habitan en mi mente, de algunas, me he reído después de lo sucedido.

And that made me remember my university days, when I lived in a dorm with other students and I used to put the rice in the kitchen and after a while someone would come to tell me “the rice is going to cook right now, haha”, it was because I put it to cook without turning on the stove. Me and my absent-mindedness, which I have tried to correct, but from time to time it still happens, I see the rice the same and I blame the electric stove because it is slower than the gas cooker, but no, it was because I had forgotten to turn it on, and the worst thing is that I had to go out and I had to delay my departure because of that blessed absent-mindedness of mine.

The same thing happens to me when I go to charge the laptop and the cell phone, but it is that I put the charger to the laptop but I do not plug it to the current, it is the other way around and when I think it is charged, it is the opposite, it is finished downloading or I am surprised to see that the percentage of charge is decreasing instead of increasing. With the cell phone is the same, as I always remove the case to charge it, it turns out that instead of putting it to charge I get distracted watching social networks and then I leave it on the furniture, after a while I go to look for it thinking that it is already charged, what a thing.

Years ago, when I was in school, I was about 12 years old, I was looking for a classmate named “Yaquelis”, I don't remember what it was for, but I really wanted to find her. Then, I started to ask for her to everyone I saw, I was so desperate, that later I realized that I asked people who did not know her, but of course, at the time I did not realize it because like the rest who did know her, some answered “no”, but others were silent and looked at me surprised. Last week another episode happened to me, I was in a hurry to get a job in the company van that would take us home, I was desperate because there were many people and I was afraid of being left without a job. So, I was ready to give the backpack to my boss and I told the driver “just a moment sir” thinking that I could start and when I realized that there was no one in the driver's seat, and of course, that unleashed some laughter, I was dying of grief, thinking “how crazy of me”.

Last month I was looking for something in the car and I got everyone to help me look for it, then someone said “you kept it in your purse”, I said no, but as he insisted I looked for it, and yes, it was there, everyone laughed. One afternoon when the power went out at home, I went to the bathroom which is dark at any time with the phone, a rechargeable bulb and the glasses, when I came out I put everything on the floor and got distracted doing other things, then, when I went to the bathroom, I stepped on the reading glasses with all my weight, only the frame was deformed. I almost cried, I had to run to the optician, they could not repair them, so I had to buy another frame, fortunately the lenses remained intact.

Another anecdote I had forgotten was the time I was with my boss and I wrote a message “he has a dog face” and the pixie appears and confuses me, instead of sending it to a friend I sent it to my boss. I was already surprised that my friend didn't answer me. That really scared me, I could get fired, but thank God nothing happened, my boss didn't retaliate
