Hey Splinterlands folks! After a year-long break, I'm finally back with a new kind of story. I'm creating a lore battle series on YouTube using AI and video editing tools like Canva and CapCut. Here's a full tutorial on how I made it happen!

I have no idea if the concept of this series will make sense, but I’m doing it purely for fun and entertainment. I'm also planning to keep promoting Splinterlands on different platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and other social media. Because the more content we create, the more people will get to know about us. It's our community, and we need to take care of it!

Starting
At first, when I saw ChannelMagnetic sharing those lore videos on Discord, I was like, Wow! That is awesome. I've seen thousands of other AI creations on different platforms, but seeing our Splinterlands cards come to life in a video was something else, it gave me goosebumps! That’s when I decided to create something similar, so I got started.
Materials
Before I start editing, I have to collect the resources of splinterlands assets like background images, card images, and sound clips one by one, and then I start it on Canva, as this is very user-friendly to make this type of video. First of all, I got the background image from the Splinterlands community drive link where you can find plenty of wallpapers and sound clips to use in your content.

To write the script, I simply go to
DeepSeekgenerated and ask it for a lore battle between
ZINTAR MORTALIS vs
ALRIC STORMBRINGER It generates a script along with an idea for the video. After that, I collect the script and follow the steps it provides until the end, just like this one.
Voice-Over
Voiceover is the hardest part of a video. To make the voiceover according to the script, I use
elevenlabs.io, it costs $5 for a 30-minute audio clip where you can use all the voice for your content, like I use two different voices for
ZINTAR MORTALIS and
ALRIC STORMBRINGER, and then I move everything into Canva. Besides that, I have added 15+ sound effects to complete the video, all were collected from Canva and Pixabay.
CapCut
After completing the video, I went to CapCut to add subtitles. It automatically generated accurate subtitles based on the script. Then, I added a few effects, like explosions and water wave effects. I may add more effects to make the video better, but before that, I want to see what people think about the idea of this series.
Thumbnail
For the thumbnail design, I used Canva. First, I picked a background from the Google Drive wallpaper that fits the theme of the battle. Then, I added images of Zintar Mortalis and Alric Stormbringer to make it visually exciting. I made sure to position them in a way that creates a face-off effect.
Next, I used bold, eye-catching fonts to add the title, making sure the text stands out but doesn’t cover important parts of the image. I also added some effects, like glow and shadows, to make the characters pop. Finally, I adjusted the colors and contrast to make it complete.
I hope you all enjoy this mini lore battle game. If people find it entertaining, I might start creating more videos like this in the future. I know my editing isn’t the best yet, but I just started. Hopefully, I’ll improve as I make more videos on this topic!
