"Vamos a darle una paliza en el campo de juego y fuera del campo si hace falta, meteré un gol, que se jodan"
Palabra más, palabra menos, esa fue la polémica frase que emitió el jugador del scratch brasileño Raphinha en una nota concedida al programa de entrevistas conducido por el histórico y extraordinario exjugador Romario.
Declaraciones que hicieron ruido y levantaron mucha polvareda, principalmente entre los miembros de la selección argentina, pero también entre el público simpatizante de la albiceleste, que somos prácticamente todos y el periodismo deportivo, del que tengo algunas dudas sobre si saben de deportes, pero lo que seguro saben es descubrir e incentivar los hechos que pueden ayudarlos a vender más diarios y revistas o elevar el rating de un programa especializado.
Hemos leído y escuchado noticias sobre ello desde el mismo instante que finalizó el partido en el que la selección argentina ganó 4 a 1 a la brasileña propinándole una lección de fútbol y actitud, yo mismo he caído en la tentación y publicado algo de este hecho sobre el que seguramente el jugador de la verdeamarela se arrepintió.
Lo que se supo después, es que hubo un encuentro entre el crack brasileño y el DT de Argentina, Lionel Scaloni, en el túnel de salida al campo de juego y previo al inicio de las acciones. Allí el DT campeón del mundo y el jugador se dieron un abrazo fraternal, un contacto físico que suele indicar que la emoción y el sentimiento está presente indicando apoyo y cariño. "Aquí no pasó nada" parece inducir a pensar la imagen que alguien retrató en el momento oportuno.
Como dije en mi publicación anterior, Scaloni es un señor con todas las letras y lo demuestra en cada gesto, en cada actitud, principalmente en los momentos de triunfo, donde los fantasmas y duendes de la soberbia y la falta de modestia aparecen con demasiada asiduidad entre quienes tienen su momento de gloria.
No solamente se abrazó con Raphinha, también lo hizo con Vinicius y con el DT Dorival Júnior aunque no pude conseguir la confirmación gráfica, me baso en los dichos de Francisco Rampone quien tomó la fotografía que si se ha divulgado y fue testigo presencial de toda la situación.
Además, Scaloni se encargó de retar públicamente al Dibu Martinez, cuando promediando el segundo tiempo y con la victoria prácticamente asegurada, el arquero comenzó a hacer malabares con la pelota antes de pasarla a un compañero. Los gestos del DT fueron captados por varias cámaras mostrando el disgusto por ese tipo de actitudes, que suelen opacar las actuaciones del extraordinario arquero campeón del mundo.
Más allá de las frases y las actitudes previas, durante y post partido, solemos olvidar que los protagonistas son seres humanos, son personas como nosotros que cometen errores futbolísticos y de los otros, muchos de los cuales preferirían no haber cometido.
Quizás lo más importante sea reconocer, aprender de ello y actuar en consecuencia, si es en la intimidad y sin que nadie observe, mejor todavía.

We've been reading and hearing about it since the Argentine national team ended their 4-1 victory over Brazil, giving them a lesson in football and attitude. I myself have succumbed to the temptation and published something about this incident, which the players of the green and yellow teams surely regretted.
What was learned later is that there was a meeting between the Brazilian star and Argentina's coach, Lionel Scaloni, in the tunnel leading to the field before kickoff. There, the world champion coach and the player shared a fraternal embrace, a physical contact that usually indicates emotion and feeling, indicating support and affection. "Nothing happened here" seems to suggest the image someone portrayed at the opportune moment.
As I mentioned in my previous post, Scaloni is a true gentleman, and it shows in every gesture and every attitude, especially in moments of triumph, when the ghosts and goblins of arrogance and immodesty appear all too frequently among those who have their moment of glory.
Not only did he hug Raphinha, but he also hugged Vinicius and coach Dorival Júnior. Although I couldn't get any photographic confirmation, I'm basing this on the statements of Francisco Rampone, who took the photograph that has been released and was an eyewitness to the entire situation.
Furthermore, Scaloni publicly challenged Dibu Martinez when, midway through the second half and with victory practically assured, the goalkeeper began juggling the ball before passing it to a teammate. The coach's gestures were captured by several cameras, demonstrating his displeasure with such behavior, which often overshadows the performances of the extraordinary world champion goalkeeper.
Beyond the phrases and attitudes before, during, and after the match, we often forget that the protagonists are human beings, people like us who make mistakes in football and those of others, many of which we would rather not have made.
Perhaps the most important thing is to recognize it, learn from it, and act accordingly—if it's done in private and without anyone watching, even better.
