Hello everyone,
I know it doesn't seem like much but this is my first finished digital sketch and I would like to show it to you and to seek some feedback.
I used only watercolor brushes for this one, it is done in Procreate. Here are some steps of the process:
I used a blue construction pencil brush to get a basic shape in and get started, then I started going in as if it was traditional artwork by layering the watercolor slowly.
I am not posting the whole timelapse video because it has a lot of brush testing and stuff that I don't want to bore you with, so I just took a few screenshots off of it for the progress.
I went on a separate layer for the leaf. I don't really know when I should be using separate layers and when it is not needed but I guess I will learn in time. Any feedback is welcome.
It for sure took me way too much time for what it is but that is how you learn new stuff, by doing it.
