I am currently reading a book by renown author Myles Munroe and in that books he talks about how man fell from God's original plan for him, God had a beautiful plans but man failed and that plan was out on hold.
you see The creator of life made it possible for man kind to love a beautiful perfect life He God created all things necessary for the comfort of man but out of his choices changed the plan.....
like Bro Eli would put it the first man was given a choice, out of all the fruits and vegetables available in the beautiful garden God has made for him to eat and avoid one, he thwarted the plan and disobey the order thus being death penalty to all of human race.

I would say it is possible, yes because man was created in God's image and likeness and as such posses his attributes, the ability to know the future, forecast, predicts with certain accuracy and certainty .
