I've been traveling around Rajasthan for many years, but I go to Jaisalmer every December. I stay there for a few days and then go to Longewala, where our country's brave soldiers won the 1971 war. Being on the land of these heroes and breathing the air there is a moment of great pride for me.
I went there to volunteer at a road running event. This road race is held every year in memory of the 1971 war, and I've been involved with this event since 2018. I enjoy coming here every year; the daytime heat and the cold nights are simply wonderful.
Meeting runners from all over India and experiencing and connecting with Jaisalmer's rich culture is a memorable experience. My favorite place in Jaisalmer is Prabhu Tea Stall, where we go for tea every evening. This shop is located at Hanuman Chowk.
I'm sharing some pictures I took around this tea stall. Prabhu Tea Stall is a famous shop that opens at 6 AM and stays open until 11 PM. The area around the shop is always bustling with activity, as you can see in the photos.
This is my entry for #monomad challenge.
