Hebrews 9:27 (KJV) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
We must remind ourselves of the unpleasant reality of life; death is one thing in life we don't want hear about, yet it is something that can happen to everyone. However, we must face the reality sometimes and reset our thinking. There is an appointment set for us which we don't know the date and time, but it has been set by God. Today an estimated 150,000 people would have their appointments confirmed and depart from earth. Except a few who really know they are dying, most have no idea. The question is simple, assuming we are slated to be amongst the 150,000, would we be ready for the aftermath? On the other hand, had we not woke up this morning, where would we be by now?
Think about it.
May we apply our hearts to wisdom, and not live carelessly as if there is no judgement beyond.
Prayer: God give us the wisdom to live according to His will everyday, and be ready to give a good account of our lives.
