I am one of the people who grow up watching the X-Files. It isn't just a normal show for me, but somehow I build a strong relation to it and to the actors. I wont mind watching it even if the actors are 90 years old, because I love it and enjoy every episode of it. It makes me remember my childhood and my time as a teenager. Moreover the X-Files really exist and there are more cases in real life than just few episodes that we see on TV. The episodes are mostly based on real life incidents and if people want to believe that or not, it is the truth that we cant deny. Maybe we should really think deep about the topic and the causes.
If you didnt watch the show, I recommend you to watch it. The episodes arent that scary, but few of them might be. Horror or science-fiction mixed up with comedy to make it digestible. They also combined suspense and tense with hilarious in a way that not many other shows ever managed. From season one a mystery was built around Samantha Mulder’s disappearance and occasionally we would get glimpses of what happened to Fox Mulder’s sister. We have been mislead and given false hopes about finding the truth about his sister. What happened to her is a long story that you need to discover by yourself.
While watching X-Files i did come across few episodes that i really liked, which focused more on Mulder and Scully. Their love life and son. The actors Duchovny and Anderson are great on their own but sensational together. They really sparked well on screen and became one of the great TV partnerships. My absolute favorite was the first season, because the episodes were so imaginative and creative, full of creepy creatures, weird science and great plots. After watching all the episodes of the series I started looking for other movies or series they have acted in. Finally, the show was very well-written and I would watch the old episodes again and enjoy them like I did the first time.
