Since so long i haven't tried any clay art. And my clay packets were also getting dry even by staying packed. So i have decided to make something out of them before they get fully dry and i regret of not using them and wasting my money.
I have started looking for the inspirations on the pinterest and youtube, but here my problem was that i only had some specific clay colors left and i wanted to use them carefully.
So that's why i was looking for inspirations about things made out of orange clay, because i had alot of orange clay left. So fortunately i have found a squirrel, i loved it and started making it.
Procedure
I have started making this clay character by first making the circular ball of orange clay for making the head. And then i have attached some brown clay over it for making details of the face.
After that i have made the detailing in eyes, and mouth area of my cute squirrel.
Then i have used same orange clay for making the ears of the squirrels. I have tried to make them look good but they were just turning into something else.
Next i have made the neck area and the shirt of this squirrel. I have used white clay for making the shirt.
Then i have made the bottom of the squirrel with blue clay. And also mixed some of blue clay with white to get lighter shade of the blue for making the detailing on the clothes.
After finishing clothes i have moved towards the feet and arms of the squirrel where i have used same orange clay as i have used in the head.
Later after finalizing both head and lower body of squirrel, i have moved towards attaching head to the lower body of the squirrel with the help of toothpick.
Lastly i have made an apple for squirrel, because her hands were not looking so good and apple works to hide this.
So here's the final results 👇 👇
That's it for today will be back with another exciting idea soon bye bye 😁 👋
