What a day for you incase you happen to #hodl sotck - ticker - JWL [Jupiter Wagons Limited]. Its like day before Yesterday, I reported that
Stock Market 101:: Continue to Invest - IN Stock - Jupiter Wagons Limited.... and today got this surprise where JWL stock is up almost 10% and is trading around Rs. 424+ INR. As seen from the above image, you can clearly see that JWL alone today is giving me a profit of Rs.32K+ INR as I am holding #hodl 920+ shares of it.
I had my reasons to start building my portfolio with the JWL and you can find the detail post around it as to why I started accumulating JWL at every sharp decline.

And as a long-term investor, I follow a disciplined strategy of buying only during market dips and holding positions until achieving a satisfactory return which should be above 20% at minimum this helps me focus on a steady 'hold and build' approach rather than bulk purchases of any stock. I wish I could show the price level build of JWL stock in my portfolio. When everyone was selling this gem of a stock, I was quietly accumulating it with conviction. Now, it's finally starting to pay of. But I'm in no rush to sell. My strategy remains to #hodl and patiently wait until it crosses the ₹600 mark; until then, it’s all about staying disciplined and letting the fundamentals play out. So why all of a sudden spike in the price of JWL? Needs to be answered or looked into. Searching google I found this news that could be the reason for JWL to surge today. Jupiter Wagons Limited (JWL) is investing ₹2,500 crore in a new rail wheel manufacturing facility in Odisha.
- New Railway wheelset manufacturing plant has started on 86 acres of land at Haldiapada in Khurda district - Odisha
- This is a huge investment of about 2k+ Crore, will be commissioned by 2027
- Axle production is expected to begin by December 2026, with full-scale operations by December 2027
- 100K wheelset production per annum and 50% of it will be exported.
- This new plant is expected to generate 3.6K+ direct and indirect jobs, contributing to India's goal of doubling railway freight capacity to 3,000 million tonnes by 2030
