On the 17th of this month, it was my 24th birthday! I'd just like to share real quick the two gifts I got from some close friends.
Jacket, my buddy from the USA gave me Mafia Remastered.
This is a game I absolutely love and have played quite a bit on PS5, unfortunately I had to trade my PS5 for a PC but this will be my way of enjoying the game and its incredible story (and presentation, with one of the best graphics I've seen on a last gen game, since it came out on PS4).
The game is set in a fictional New York city and it's about the lives of Italian migrants and descendants and their gangs in such city. It's quite a thrilling story and it's really well made, specially considering this is a remake of a 20+ year old game. The story still holds up really well.
My friend Ildo here from Brazil gifted me The Witcher 3. I must say I'm not quite familiar with The Witcher series besides the TV show, but this will likely still be an awesome experience, because from what I've seen from this game, it looks absolutely great.
I'm a big fan of RPGs, and even though this doesn't look as complex as something like The Elder's Scrolls, it still looks plenty of fun.
I've already got both games downloaded. I played a little bit of Mafia whilst my girlfriend was here (Aye, I'm dating someone again) and she absolutely loved the graphics and the story.
Today I'll probably start The Witcher 3 if my schedule isn't too busy.
What have you gotten for your birthday if you've already had it? And if it's still a ways away, what would you like to get?
This was really special for me, as gaming is my hobby and getting things from friends is quite rare. My parents didn't even give me gifts for instance hahahaha.
