Hey, Hivers! What’s up? I hope all are doing well. I’m excited to share one of our ventures with my son and his wife, so let’s connect.
After done with all household chores and about to rest, my son told me that we were going to the mall. We could hang out there until his father came off from work and picked us up, and then go to Jumeirah as planned.
We headed to the mall even though we didn’t have much time to spend there. Just a little stroll and my husband called me he was coming to pick us up. We went to the entrance before he arrived. We didn’t feel rushed, luckily the streets weren’t too busy, so we made it there smoothly without delays. We found a great parking spot, just a 10-minute walk from The Beach JBR.
As we reached we couldn’t help but notice some luxurious cars along the way. The area was crowded with tourists strolling into the place.
The moment we stepped into The Beach at JBR, we went directly to the shoreline. Many people enjoyed their swim even though the waves were crashing against the shore. The sun begins to descend to the horizon, we find a good spot to settle on the sand. A few people walk into the shoreline and some take selfies making the beach their background. The cool breeze embraces the surroundings as the sky begins to shift into a deep orange. A moment of silence as we watched the sunset. As the sun was close to an end, my son took his phone to take a perfect snap of us and the sunset. We decided to take a stroll, enjoying the fresh air, we spotted a group of doves pecking at the ground and some were flapping their wings as they moved. Took some shots capturing their moments.
With the evening settling in, comes vibrant lights from Dubai Eye. The wheel illuminates as it stands tall against the dark horizon. The reflections on the water create a magical ambiance that invites the tourists to pause and take some pictures.
As we walked along the boardwalk, we passed stylish cafés and restaurants with different cuisines offered. We let our son decide what food he wanted to eat, he chose Buffalo Wild Wings and it was a perfect choice. We take 2 orders of Smokehouse Brisket Salad and House Sampler Traditional. We love watching him and his wife enjoying the food. The food was delicious, and what made it special was we were together while enjoying the meal.
As we went home, feeling full and happy about today’s venture. A sense of contentment was felt, and the memories we’ve created today are absorbed into every corner from the laughter we shared and the amazing sights we explored together.
