Today I worked with the children at school on an extremely interesting art technique, which is called Ebru technique in our country. It is done with nail polish and water. In a larger bowl of water, pour the desired nail polish, in different colors. Before the nail polish falls to the bottom of the bowl, since it is heavier than water, a ceramic or plastic cup is lowered into the bowl and held in the water for 3 seconds. The result of this work of art can be seen on the cups. It is interesting and very creative. I should also mention that this is exclusively done outdoors because of the smell of nail polish. When it dries, it can be brought into a closed room.
