Another day had passed by and we have experience many learnings and activities in life that may helped us grow as individual and as a human being, and all this we truly thank and praise God.
For today, I will be sharing another Ministry that God has given to me although we have already this before but it has been a while since we have schedule for this, and this is the Family Development Session for the 4Ps Beneficiaries. We have this ministry since last year October and just this month, we have been a schedule to facilitate.
I am very blessed because it is my joy to be with this kind of work, a ministry for the Lord. Now, before I proceed I will be thanking first all my supporters who always here in my side most especially to the Community Admin and all Curators who keeps on dropping by.
Last February, I was appointed as the new Municipal Coordinator of VRAM here in our Municipality and on of my duties and responsibilities is to be updated always with the Department of Social Workers and Development.
Since then I have received a good new because for how many months, our FDS for 4Ps beneficiaries are back. I have then informed my co-Pastors about this, and even them they were very thankful.
I have been assigned to facilitate at the Barangay where our Church located, at Camanga, and so our session will be held at our Church. It is nice for I can teach and facilitate them very well here in our Church.
It was around 8:30 in the morning when I went to our Church as the session will be start by 9:00 in the morning. Together with me is one of our Church young people and I am happy for he joined me so I have an assistant today. As we arrived in our Church, just on time for no 4Ps members were present in our Church yet, and so we can clean up first but after a while, the members were slowly coming to our Church.
Exactly 9:00 in the morning we have then immediately started the FDS Session with the 4Ps members. What I did is, I started it with opening prayer then followed by a short sharing of God's Word. I did this because it is very important for them to hear a Word of God.
Our topic today is very challenging topic to share because it is all about Family Planning. Knowing that I am still single, I don't have any ideas about this but as I read the handouts given to us, I can say that I have learned a lot that may helped me plan for my future family.
I am also very thankful because all of the 4Ps members were very responsive and every time I asked them, they also answered me. We have finished our session around 10:30 in the morning, and I just pray to God that all we have discuss will be not in vain but they will apply in their own family.
Since the session and lecture is done, it is now time for attendance to all who have joined the session as a proof and it will be submitted to the DSWD. They have also going to write a minutes of what they have learned, and most importantly I will going to sign at the back, for being a resource person.
I have then went home but supposed to be, it is now time for me to rest after the session. My cousin who is also my Senior Pastor contacted me and asking me for a help and assist him to where he is assigned to facilitate FDS for the 4Ps which is at Punta Silum to be held at the Covered Court.
So, after lunch I immediately went to the venue to help my cousin as he will be leaving also. The Barangay Punta Silum has many 4Ps members around 60 and so, we have two schedule to do, and the first schedule will be my cousin who is going to facilitate, and the second one will be me.
The topic will be the same, all about Family Planning and I am very thankful to God for everything went very well. Both schedules were successfully done and I can say that all the members were also very participative and active as they have answered all the questions that I've asked based on the topic we discussed.
The afternoon session was now then finished around 3:00 in the afternoon, and before I went back home, I first submitted the attendance both two Barangay to the office of the DSWD. Then I went back home safely and finally, it is now time for me to rest.
