My garden is filling up with pests. There is no rain. I have not been able to buy the liquid to spread a spray to exterminate the pests. Nor will detergent, in its many combinations, kill the pests. According to suggestions from some users who have plants and have used a combination of detergent with baking soda or vinegar. They say that the detergent has helped them but, for my plants nothing, I have not been able to get rid of the pests.
Day by day I have been able to see how the plants that were beautiful before, today are becoming leafless, and some have even dried up completely. Every time I have to see how my plants dry up because of the pests it saddens me.
For me, sowing has a meaning of hope, it gives me life, in my eyes and in my life. Realizing that I am sowing and they do not prosper makes me very sad.
I also sowed some tomato seeds, as soon as I saw the small flowers, I knew they would not bear the usual fruit. So, ignoring the flowers, I returned to fertilize the soil with organic fertilizer. The flowering stopped and just now, after 15 days of fertilizing, I am seeing that some bigger flowers are starting to appear.
The truth is that my garden is a place where every day I immerse myself in its foliage, in the flowers, in the harvest but, with so much pruning of dead branches, full of different pests, I am limiting myself to go for a walk among them. Because instead of cheering me up it makes me sad to see them like this.
The rains are delayed every year and when they arrive they come in the form of storms. Within a week the plants end up drowned, the cactus rotten and the crops lost. I don't learn to live with each season and what it brings. One because I would not want my beautiful plants to be affected by anything, without excessive sunlight and water.
To make matters worse, my papaya plant, which is growing very beautifully, is producing male flowers. At one time I was able to harvest very sweet papayas right here but today the plants that have been born only produce flowers that will not produce futos.
I have used various tools to adjust the fertilizer, add more nitrates, and add more ashes, I even followed a video and pruned it.
Yes, I did. I did, I pruned my papaya plant on a full moon. I put three nails in the stem very close to its contact with the soil. I re-pruned it again and looked at the flowers again with the same characteristics as at the beginning.
I am worried about this. Could it be that I can no longer reverse the fact that in my garden only papaya plants with male flowers are born?
Well, I just have to wait in time. So much with the pests, the lack of rain, and the unproductivity of some fruit plants.

Mi jardín está llenándose de plagas. No hay lluvias. No he podido comprar el líquido para esparcir un aerosol para exterminar las plagas. Tampoco acaban con las plagas el detergente, en sus multiples combinaciones. Según sugerencias de algunos usuarios que tienen plantas y han usado combinación de detergente con bicarbonato, o con vinagre. Dicen que el detergente les ha servido pero, para mís plantas nada, yo no he conseguido que se vallan las plagas.
Día a día he podido ver cómo las plantas que antes estaban hermosas hoy se van quedando sin hojas, e incluso algunas se han secado totalmente. Cada vez que tengo que ver cómo se secan mis plantas por las plagas me entristece.
Para mi el sembrar tiene un significado de esperanza, me da vida, a mis ojos y a mi vida. El darme cuenta que estoy sembrando y no prosperan me da mucha pena.
También he sembrado unas semillas de tomate, apenas les ví las flores tan pequeñas, supe que no darían los frutos de siempre.
Así que obviando las flores volví a abonar el suelo con abono orgánico. Se paralizó la floración y apenas ahorita, después de 15 días del abonado, estoy viendo que empiezan a salir algunas flores más grandes.
Lo cierto es que mi jardín es un lugar donde a diario me sumerjo en su follaje, en las flores, en la cosecha pero, con tanto podar ramas muertas, llenas de diferentes plagas me estoy limitando a salir a pasear entre ellas. Porque en vez de darme animo me entristece verlas así.
Las lluvias se retrasan todos los años y cuando llegan lo hacen en forma de tormentas. Al cabo de una semana las plantas terminan ahogadas, los cactus podridos y las cosechas perdidas. No aprendo a vivir con cada temporada y con lo que trae cada cual. Porque quisiera que mis hermosas plantas no se afectaran con nada, sin plagas y sin exceso de sol o de agua.
Para colmo de males mi planta de papaya que está creciendo muy bonita está produciendo flores machos. En alguna oportunidad yo pude cosechar aquí mismo papayas muy dulce pero hoy día las plantas que han nacido solo producen flores que no darán frutos.
He usado varias herramientas para ajustarles el abono, agregarles más nitratos, más cenizas, incluso hice caso de un video y la pode.
Si. Le hice caso, pode mi planta de papaya en luna llena. Le coloque tres clavos en el tallo muy cerca de su contacto con la tierra. La volví a abonar y miren volvió a tener las flores con las mismas características que al inicio.
Me preocupa esto. Será que ya no puedo revertir el hecho de que en mi jardín solo nazcan plantas de papaya con flores macho?
Bien solo me queda esperar en el tiempo. Tanto con las plagas, la falta de lluvia y la improductividad de algunas plantas frutales.
