Saturday Savers Club Week #7 / A new update

2025-05-14T16:06:30
Hello savers!
After several weeks without posting any update on the progress of my savings and goals set for this year, I have decided to publish again my progress or perhaps setbacks in my goals; for various circumstances I had not had the opportunity to publish my progress, including an unexpected health complication suffered by my wife the last few days, which led us to dispose of a small part of the resource that was part of my goals this year.
One of the tokens set as a goal for this year was already reaching the goal, however, in the midst of the health complication suffered by my wife I was forced to dispose of 50% of my SIM tokens that I had managed to accumulate which represented a significant decrease in the progress of this goal, however, as a good friend says: "Make a plan and work on your plan" so we remain focused on the objectives with the firm determination to achieve them this year.
Discipline is the best way to work to achieve the goals, and although discipline is a task that becomes difficult in many cases, it is worth striving for a good level of discipline to see dreams materialize, in addition to perseverance and effort, so here we are with a good stretch of road traveled and determined to achieve our goal.

Progress towards my objectives

It has been 133 days of this year 2025, and my main goal is to complete the 365 days challenge which I tried last year, but I failed to complete it, so this challenge is my main motivation and through which I am learning discipline and creating the habit of saving.
Of those 133 days I have managed to complete the challenge in 127 days, so I have a small deficit of 6 days, a deficit that I will strive to make up in the following days, although I have challenges here that will make it difficult for me to advance.
Even though I am dragging a small deficit, I think I am not doing too badly on the way to my goals, in particular this main goal which has an accumulated 143,946 HBD, an important milestone for me.

My secondary goal is to grow Hive Power, and this secondary goal continues to grow slowly, although I have not been very consistent in my postings lately, however, I receive small fractions through some investments which makes the growth not stop, although sometimes it is imperceptible, so my cumulative HP is 767,889 HP and we continue to strive to continue the growth.

Then there is a series of targets added for this year, and they were the ones that suffered a slowdown due to the unforeseen health problem that my wife suffered, which forced me to redeem some of these tokens to pay for part of my wife's treatment.
My goal is to accumulate about 200 BXT before the end of the year, of which I had managed to accumulate 123 BXT according to my last update, but after the hiccup mentioned above my accumulated BXT tokens are 98.25, but we remain focused on achieving our goal.

The next target this year is the accumulation of SIM, whose goal is to accumulate 1,000,000 one million SIM tokens before the end of the year, and although the accumulation of this token also suffered a slowdown for the reason mentioned above, I think it will not be too difficult to achieve.
In my last update the amount of SIM accumulated in my portfolio was 982,759 and fraction, and at this moment it is 706,851 SIM so I think this target will not be difficult to achieve even with the inconvenience we had, we just hope we don't have any more unforeseen the rest of the way.

Lastly, there is my miscalculated goal the SPS, since this goal is reached and although I have not had much activity in the game #splinterlands I keep accumulating SPS and multiplying my amount of this token in my wallet.
In the case of the SPS I have it as a reference to see how much I can accumulate this year, to set as a goal next year with a better calculation in the challenge.

Summary of the preview in images

I already mentioned that I am a bit behind my main goal, specifically 6 days behind, however, I am satisfied so far due to the inconveniences I have had and still stay in the race within the times set for this challenge.
Well there are 127 days that I have managed to add my penny to this challenge and we remain very optimistic in achieving this goal, although I must admit that as the days go by this challenge becomes more difficult, however, it is all about effort, discipline and perseverance, that is what we are learning from all this.
This image reflects the weekly progress of this same challenge, which indicates that 19 weeks of challenge have elapsed until May 11, which indicates that we stopped in week 19 and we hope to resume our progress very soon.

Summary of the weekly progress

Ok friends, this is the summary of the progress towards this year's objectives, in this chart you can see amounts in negative, these are the assets that suffered an unscheduled withdrawal and are below the amount with which we started this year, we can also see the percentage of progress above 20%, this is because I decided to include in the calculation of progress the amount with which each asset started in the month of January.
I think that as we move forward some assets will overcome their negative numbers while increasing the percentage of progress to approach the goal set for each of them, except for the SPS that will increasingly exceed the target set as this asset I am keeping it on the list to see what percentage can exceed my goal miscalculated.
With this publication I update my participation in the #saturdaysavers club, I wish you the best in your goals and I will read you very soon.
