Iniciamos un nuevo año y la madrugada del 3 de enero nos sorprendió con la incursión de una operación por parte del ejercito de los estados Unidos a Venezuela, capturando y poniendo a la orden de la justicia norteamericana a Nicolás Maduro en lo que fue una operación sorpresa y sin precedentes en nuestra nación.

El día sábado todos permanecimos atentos a los noticieros y las noticias en Internet par ver como se desarrollaban estos acontecimientos.
Así que Venezuela vive unos días de incertidumbre, y nosotros la iglesia del Señor debemos ajustarnos a nuestro rol en cualquier situación que se presente en nuestro país... A cual rol me refiero? Debemos continuar orando, para que se haga la perfecta voluntad de nuestro Dios, y seguir con nuestras actividades, ayudando al necesitado y alentando a través de la palabra del Señor a todos los afligidos.

Así que según lo planificado mediante la oración y la dirección de nuestro Dios, el domingo 4 de enero nos reunimos a celebrar lo que fue nuestra primera Reunión dominical del año, con la finalidad de alabar a Dios y presentar nuestros planes para este ano delante de Dios, además de agradecer al Señor por su favor y gracias para con nosotros.

Al igual que cada domingo nos reunimos un grupo de los integrantes de esta hermosa comunidad de fe, pero como siempre no estuvimos todos, siempre nos cuesta reunirnos la totalidad por razones diversas, sin embargo, tuvimos un tiempo hermoso en la presencia de nuestro Dios y en comunión los unos con los otros.

Fue un tiempo para la gratitud, la reconciliación y la adoración conjunta, donde algunos hermanos expresaron su agradecimiento a Dios y sus planes de servicio para este año que inicia; como líder de la comunidad tuve la oportunidad de presentar a los hermanos nuestra planificación de actividades para el mes de enero, un mes que denominamos cada año como mes de Primicias.

El tema que compartí con la comunidad fue "El deleite" y esta relacionado con encontrar gozo y deleitarse en nuestro Señor, teniendo como meta para este año enfocarnos en Dios y el Servicio encontrando alegría y satisfacción plena en El y en el Servicio, si haces las cosas como para el Señor y tu alegría, satisfacción y gozo provienen de deleitarte en su presencia, ninguna situación adversa podrá robarte la paz y el gozo que proviene de servir a Dios.

Nuestra Reunión como cada domingo se extendió hasta mediodía en una atmósfera de alabanzas, gratitud, motivación y aprendizaje bíblico, lo que nos permitió regresar a casa renovados, fortalecidos y enfocados en encontrar gozo genuino y satisfacción plena en nuestro Señor y en cada oportunidad de servicio que el nos proporcione.

We must continue to pray that the perfect will of our God be done, and continue with our activities, helping those in need and encouraging all who are afflicted through the word of the Lord.

So, as planned through prayer and the guidance of our God, on Sunday, January 4, we gathered to celebrate our first Sunday meeting of the year, with the purpose of praising God and presenting our plans for this year before God, as well as thanking the Lord for His favor and grace toward us.

As we do every Sunday, a group of members of this beautiful community of faith gathered, but as always, not everyone was able to attend. It is always difficult for us to gather everyone for various reasons, but we had a wonderful time in the presence of our God and in fellowship with one another.

It was a time for gratitude, reconciliation, and worship together, where some brothers and sisters expressed their gratitude to God and their plans for service for this coming year. As a community leader, I had the opportunity to present to the brothers and sisters our plan of activities for the month of January, a month we call each year the month of First Fruits.

The theme I shared with the community was “Delight,” which is related to finding joy and delight in our Lord, with the goal for this year of focusing on God and service, finding joy and complete satisfaction in Him and in service. If you do things for the Lord and your joy, satisfaction, and delight come from delighting in His presence, no adverse situation will be able to steal the peace and joy that comes from serving God.

Our meeting, like every Sunday, lasted until noon in an atmosphere of praise, gratitude, motivation, and biblical learning, which allowed us to return home renewed, strengthened, and focused on finding genuine joy and complete satisfaction in our Lord and in every opportunity for service that He provides us.
