Good day wonderful people of Afri-tunes and Inleo community. I am very excited to share my view on how one can pour out emotions through music. Before I kick off with the main article I must make a confession that at first I didn’t quite understand the topic. I was battling within myself to understand if it means how people who listen to music pour out their emotions or how people who sing pour out their emotions into their song but I later came to a conclusion that my second guess is most likely it.
A picture of me singing in churchTo help me further understand the topic at had to research what it truly means to pour out emotions through music. It said Music serves as a positive outlet for emotional expression, offering an effective way to convey emotions. It also went on to say how instrumental serve as a way of pouring out your emotions through music which made me better understand that it is both ways. Basically pouring out your emotions through music doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be the one singing it could be through listening.
https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-in-cozy-sweater-enjoying-floral-meadow-30836391/ It is said people listen to music based on their mood but more spiritual people would say, music is a spiritual journey and the kind of music we listen to, may invite a particular kind of spirit that would determine our mood.
However, this theory suggests that a person’s mood is not determined by the music but, they determine the music by their mood. Hope it doesn’t sound too complex.
Pouring out emotions through music to me is simple the channeling those emotions into the kind of music we listen to, channeling them into writing songs that resonates well with how we feel.
As a matter of fact It has been scientifically proven over the years that music is good therapy for the soul. As it improves mental health, manages pain and most of all, express emotions.
Pouring emotions into music I believe is also a reflection of one’s personality. It is also said to be the best way to getting beautiful melody that are relatable to listeners.
I mean take a look at the lives of artiste like oyeka, Nathaniel Bassey, Mercy Chinwo their songs is a clear evidence of how they really feel.
And let’s not narrow it down to African artist, we also have legends like Cece Winans, Donnie McClurkins,Fred Hammond, kierra sherds. We also have the likes of celine Dion , Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson and so many more.
People like this will forever be remembered because how much pouring of emotions through music they have done and let’s not forget Bruno Mars who most of his melody are inspired through heart break.
Because of people like this, other can pour their emotion into their music by listening to them.
Thank you for reading through, till next time I still remain
