Hey Steemians, today I am going to share my recipe for crusty herb bread with you.
The first step is to pour 1 1/4 cups of warm water into a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of yeast and stir.

Let this sit for about 10 minutes until the yeast mixture is foamy.

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of rosemary, and 3 cups of flour. Stir together.

Cover with plastic wrap and let proof in a warm area of your kitchen for 35 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees f. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Sprinkle a little flour on your cupboard. Turn dough out onto floured cupboard. Knead dough just a few times, maybe 5 to 6 times. Shape dough into a ball. Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Using a sharp knife, make 3 slits in the top of the dough.

Bake for 32 minutes.
After taking bread out of the oven, place on a wire rack to cool.

I like to serve this bread with pasta. I also really like to use it for grilled cheese
Enjoy!
