The energy that only family gives you

Greetings to all members of the community, how have you been? It is a pleasure for me to be here once again to participate in the #KISS Blogging Idea 158 talking a little about how I recharge. The truth is that I have never needed major expenses to recharge myself, from adverse circumstances one learns to manage with what is at hand. Besides, this is something more spiritual than anything else, so self should be enough. It is all a matter of how we ourselves relate to our environment, how we talk to others, and in what kind of things and situations we find energy. Energy can come from many sources, the material is simply a means to achieve it, in a sense, not the end in itself. I apply this to many aspects of my life and it has served me well so far.
Now, speaking about family, the needs of my family are many but the most important thing for us has always been to stay together. My parents moved to another state for a few months to be closer to relatives and try to make a new life, but I stayed in the family home, and let's just say I missed them. I've always said that my core family is three, my parents and me, and it felt pretty strange to be without them for the first time. I realized how much their presence impacts my life, how much they are the energy sources of my life. Now I am so glad they are back. Our family dynamic is quite nice with its ups and downs like everything else.

We usually have special meals at home together and share at mealtime, that fills me with a lot of energy. We talk about everything and nothing at the same time, about our life projects and stuff, something I love because I always like to think about my future with the people I love with all my heart. I like to appreciate the little things in life, because maybe going out once in a while to have nice memories has weight, but most of the time we are at home, and it's those moments that we have to appreciate to the fullest. That's why any situation in my home is something special.
If I feel I need to go out, rather than go out alone, I prefer to go out with my parents, my close cousins, or some friends. I am quite a social person. This past season I haven't gone out much with my friends due to commitment issues, but my cousins have been there to satisfy that need to do something outside that we all have from time to time. Although in reality, we are also used to making plans that don't require going out anywhere, and sometimes we just get together at our house to hang out and gossip, talk about our lives. Last time we made a plan at home to put together some Lego-like dolls that cost less than two dollars, and we had a great time.

I have come to enjoy life more when I have less in my pockets, because without the presence of money, it is easier to focus on what really matters to do with it, which is to create good memories. A sunset walk close to home can become something completely wonderful, because that's what it's all about, seeing what you have around you, the resources you have, the people you have, and doing the best you can with that. That's what I've been doing for a long time and it's given me very good results, starting with more happiness, less frustration.
The only thing I need to really recharge is the people I love.
Thank you so much for reading.
