Greetings friends. The other day I shared with you an evolution of Oddish, Gloom. Although he is one of the biggest Pokemon I have made for my collection, after Pinsir, today I am going to share with you another one of the smallest, a Pokemon that in my opinion is one of the most charming and cute.
Surely you have seen it in some anime, card, game, it is about the small and talented Pokémon singer, Jigglypuff.

Saludos amigos. El otro día compartí con ustedes una evolución de Oddish, Gloom. Aunque es uno de los Pokemon más grandes que he hecho para mi colección, después de Pinsir, hoy voy a compartir con ustedes otro de los más pequeños, un Pokemon que en mi opinión es uno de los más encantadores y lindos.
Seguramente lo han visto en algún anime, carta, juego, se trata de la pequeña y talentosa cantante Pokémon, Jigglypuff.
As I said, this is one of the biggest Pokémon I've made for my collection, so far Omanyte is the smallest, but Jigglypuff follows. It's just lovely and at that size it causes even more tenderness, especially with those huge blue eyes.
I would like to show you how I made this tiny but grumpy Pokémon, join me in the creative process of this figurine.
Como dije, este es uno de los Pokémon más grandes que he hecho para mi colección, hasta ahora Omanyte es el más pequeño, pero Jigglypuff le sigue. Es que es simplemente encantadora y a ese tamaño aún más ternura causa, sobre todo con esos enormes ojos azules.
Me gustaría mostrarles cómo hice este pequeñito pero gruñon Pokémon, acompáñenme en el proceso creativo de esta figurita.
Step by step
Well, the shape of this character is very simple, it is a pink sphere with little legs, hands, ears, eyes and a bow on the forehead. For this reason I started by making a small pink sphere.
The size I already said, more or less the same size as the Omanyte I made back then, when I started to make my Pokémon collection.
Paso a paso
Bien, la forma de este personaje es muy sencillo, es una esfera rosada con patitas, manos, orejas, ojos y un moño en la frente. Por este motivo comencé haciendo una pequeña esfera de color rosado.
El tamaño ya lo dije, más o menos del mismo tamaño que el Omanyte que hice en aquel entonces, cuando comencé a hacer mi colección de Pokémon.
The next step was to make the little feet. I made them with the help of a small wire in the shape of an “L”, this will allow the little feet to serve as support for Jigglypuff to stand up. Without the wire, he would simply fall forward because of the softness of the play dough.
Lo siguiente fue hacer los piecitos. Estos los hice ayudándome con un alambre pequeño en forma de "L", esto permitirá que los piecitos puedan servir de soporte para que Jigglypuff se pueda mantener en pie. Sin el alambre, simplemente se caería hacia adelante por la suavidad de la plastilina.
I made the arms the same way, using a small piece of wire to hold the arms in place. It is worth noting that the arms are similar to small cones with rounded tips.
Los bracitos los hice igual, ayudándome de un trocito de alambre pequeño que pudiera sostener los bracitos en su lugar. Cabe destacar que los brazos son similares a unos conos pequeños y de punta redondeada.
For the ears I made a pair of triangles, I made an indentation in the middle of each one in the shape of a triangle as well.
In this slit I placed another smaller triangle of black plasticine, which would contrast with the pink of the ears.
Para las orejas hice un par de triángulos, a cada uno les hice una hendidura en medio con forma de triángulo también.
En esta hendidura coloque otro triángulo de plastilina negra más peqeño, el cual haría contraste con el rosado de las orejas..
In the case of the ears, I did not use any wire, since the shape of the ears and the position in which they are, they can be kept quietly in place without falling.
Very close to the ears, in fact in the middle of the ears, is the bow that Jigglypuff has. I made it with a thick piece of plasticine, which I rolled a little at the tip. I just glued it in place, without any support.
En el caso de las orejas, no usé ningún alambre, ya que por la propia forma de las orejas y la posición en la que están, estas se podrán mantener tranquilamente en su sitio sin caerse.
Muy cerca de las orejas, de hecho en medio de las orejas, está el moño que tiene Jigglypuff. Este lo hice con un trocito gruesos de plastilina, el cual enrollé un poco en la punta. Este lo pegué solamente en su lugar, sin ningún tipo de soporte.
The mouth and eyes were a bit more difficult because of the shape of the eyes themselves. They are huge, so you have to try to make them the right size so they are not too big in relation to the character's own body.
Even so, I made them the right size, first I made a white sphere and then a blue sphere that I placed on top of the white sphere. I flattened both and that's how the eyes were, as you can see in the images below. I placed some dots on each eye to simulate the brightness they have.
La boca y los ojos fueron un poco más difíciles por la propia forma de los ojos. Son enormes, así que hay que tratar de hacerlos con el tamaño adecuado para que no queden demasiado grandes con respecto al propio cuerpo del personaje.
Aún así, los hice de un tamaño adecuado, primero hice una esfera blanca y luego una esfera azul que coloqué encima de la esfera blanca. Aplasté ambas y así quedaron los ojos, tal como pueden ver en las imágenes de abajo. Les coloqué unos puntitos en cada ojo para simular el brillo que estos tienen.
The last detail I made for the character was her little microphone that also serves as a marker to scratch the face of everyone who falls asleep when she sings. It was something that I thought was really cool in the anime and I never understood why no Pokémon master had a Jigglypuff to use it in the tournaments, at least in the anime...
El último detalle que hice para el personaje fue su pequeño micrófono que también sirve como marcador para rayar la cara a todos los que se duermen cuando ella canta. Era algo que me parecía rotísimo en el anime y nunca entendí por qué ningún maestro Pokémon tenia a un Jigglypuff para usarlo en los torneos, al menos en el anime...
