Hello, friends. I’ve been working on a project here on my blog for over a year now. Although I hadn’t been able to finish it due to a lack of time, today I’m here to share with you the final post in this series. Note that this is the last one in this series—the other four Dinozords are still to come, since this is the first one.

Saludos amigos. Hace más de un año que llevo haciendo un proyecto acá en mi blog. Si bien no lo había logrado terminar por falta de tiempo, hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes el último post de este proyecto. Ojo, el último de este, porque faltan los otros cuatro Dinozord, ya que este es el primero.

Although I show you the images and what I did to finish the figurine in the video, you can also see everything related to the final details of the project in the images below.
As you can see, these are all the pieces of the figurine. As you can see, some are individual pieces, while others—such as the torso and head—are complete blocks.
Aunque en el video les muestro las imágenes y lo que hice para terminar la figurita, también pueden ver en las imágenes de abajo todo lo referente a los últimos detalles de la publicación.
Como pueden ver, estas son todas las piezas de la figurita. Como se aprecia algunas son individuales y otras, como el torso y la cabeza, son bloques completos.
The painting process is basically the final step. But first, you need to apply a black base coat to cover up the white color and the smudged areas from earlier. This base coat makes all the imperfections visible while also hiding them.
El proceso de pintado es básicamente lo último. Pero antes de cualquier cosa, se debe aplicar una base de negro que sirve para ocultar el color blanco y las piezas manchadas que había hecho antes. Todas las imperfecciones se ven con esta base y se ocultan al mismo tiempo.
After that, using the dry-brushing technique, I applied a coat of silver paint, which pairs well with the black, creating a metallic finish across the entire body of the Zord.
Después de esto, con la técnica de pintado en seco, apliqué una capa de plateado que hace buena combinación con el negro, creando un acabado metalizado a todo el cuerpo del Zord.
After applying the dry-brushing layer, it’s time to add color to the figurine. The key is not to cover the entire piece haphazardly, but to apply the red color to just a few parts.
The idea is to incorporate the red color without losing the metallic finish I’d already created. I also used copper paint on a few pipes and other parts along the robot’s body.
Después de aplicar la capa de pintado en seco, es momento de aplicar el color a la figurita. La manera no es cubrir toda la pieza a lo loco, sino aplicar el color rojo a unas cuantas piezas.
La idea es que haya presencia del color rojo, pero sin que se pierda el color metalizado que ya había creado. Además, usé el color cobre para unas cuantas tuberías y otras piezas a lo largo del cuerpo del robot.

That’s how I managed to paint all the pieces, trying to maintain a style similar to that of the original Tyrannosaurus while staying true to the style I’d created from the start. As you can see in the image below, here are all the pieces, separate and already painted.
Así fue como logré pintar todas las piezas, tratando de mantener un estilo similar al del Tyrannosaurus original, pero manteniendo el estilo que creé desde un comienzo. Tal como pueden ver en la imagen de abajo, ahí están todas las piezas por separado y ya pintadas.
The figure was basically ready; all that was left was to put it all together. This is what the Dinozord looked like once it was assembled. Here are a couple of photos of the final result:
Básicamente ya estaba lista la figurita, solo faltaba armarlas todas. Así fue como quedó el Dinozord ya armado. A continuación un par de fotos del resultado final:
