There’s no doubt in my mind that nature photography will always be my favorite. I love the calmness of it, the leaves, the flowers, the little textures that most people walk past. Nature feels honest, quiet, and patient. It waits for you to notice it.

But of course, I also enjoy photographing other subjects, and street photography is one of them.
When I’m out in the city, the “beauty” looks different. It’s not petals and sunlight, it’s movement, patterns, and everyday life happening all at once. People walking fast, commuting, going somewhere important, or maybe going nowhere at all. Everyone has their own pace, their own style, their own story… and you can feel it even if you only see them for a few seconds.
In today’s photo, I focused on the small details that usually go unnoticed. Just shoes on the floor, a bag resting nearby, and a plastic bag carefully holding something someone is bringing home. It’s such a simple scene, but it says a lot. We don’t need to see faces to understand the mood. The city has this rhythm where people sit close to each other, yet they’re still inside their own world, quiet, private, and focused on whatever is waiting for them outside the train doors.
That’s what makes street photography interesting to me. People can be side by side and still be in separate bubbles. Some are talking, some are scrolling, some are just staring into space, letting time pass until their stop arrives. It’s ordinary, but it’s also beautiful in its own way.
Nature is my peace, but the streets remind me that life is always moving.
Have a good day ahead.
