The final workout of 2025 and my third HPUD... my training diary entry from December 31 2025

Hi Actifitters,

wish all of you a Happy New Year and all the best for 2026!

With the turn of the year, the next Powerup Day is also on the agenda. So I powered up 200 Hive to be part of it.

With my daily stakings I powered up a total of 1520 Hive in December.


Yesterday I had another nice workout. It was not as long as the one two days before but also intense. I started with regular push-ups followed by close-grip push-ups. Look at the tables to see where I am at.

Regular push-ups

Current goal (120+):

set 1 set 2 set 3 set 4 set 5 set 6 set 7 set 8 break between sets
13 13 15 15 12 12 10 max (min. 30) 45 seconds

Previous workout (110):

set 1 set 2 set 3 set 4 set 5 set 6 set 7 set 8 break between sets
13 13 15 15 12 12 10 20 45 seconds

Yesterdays workout (112):

set 1 set 2 set 3 set 4 set 5 set 6 set 7 set 8 break between sets
13 13 15 15 12 12 10 22 45 seconds

As you can see I was able to do two repetitions more in set eight than last time. We are very slowly approaching the requirement of 30 repetitions in the last set.

Close-grip push-ups

Current goal (47+):

set 1 set 2 set 3 set 4 set 5 break between sets
9 11 8 8 max (min. 11) 60 seconds

Previous performance (42):

set 1 set 2 set 3 set 4 set 5 break between sets
9 11 8 8 6 60 seconds

Yesterdays performance (43):

set 1 set 2 set 3 set 4 set 5 break between sets
9 11 8 8 7 60 seconds

Here too, I managed to improve by one repetition in the last sentence. Slow and steady wins the race.

In addition, I went on a tough 48-minute bike ride to improve my VO2max. Wow... that was really exhausting.


Today I will have a rest day because I just came home and have to sleep first. If I wake up not to late I have planned to make a longer walk to start with at least some movement into the new year.
