Hola amigos @motherhood ¿Cómo están pasando su semana? por este lado estamos bien gracias a Díos, felices porque ya vamos a tener vacaciones escolares por las navidades.

Hoy fue un día verdaderamente especial para Gabriela. Después de una semana difícil en la que estuvo muy enferma con gripe y fiebre, por fin pudo regresar a su colegio para disfrutar de una de las actividades más esperadas del año, el parrandon y la feria de dulces y postres navideños, de verdad fue una jornada llena de alegría, color y espíritu navideño.

La semana pasada prácticamente no asistió a clases y apenas el jueves comenzó a sentirse mejor. Ese mismo día y el viernes tuvo ensayos intensos en Juan Griego, ya que el sábado 6 de diciembre tenía su presentación de lírico, la cual logró realizar con mucho esfuerzo y dedicación, a pesar de estar saliendo de su enfermedad.

Esta semana ha estado cargada de actividades en la escuela en los diferentes salones. Ayer no pudo asistir, pero hoy no quiso perdérselo por nada del mundo. Mañana descansará nuevamente y el jueves regresará para su compartir de navidad, donde tendrán un intercambio de regalos. Gabriela está muy emocionada por ello.

La feria fue un éxito total. Cada niño debía llevar 10 porciones de dulces empaquetadas y aunque inicialmente pensé en hacer una torta negra, por falta de algunos materiales opté por preparar quesillos. Y miren que fue un reto, ya que con un quesillo no me alcanzaron las porciones, así que terminé haciendo dos para poder compartir también con los profesores, la secretaría, la coordinadora de primaria y por supuesto, con su antigua maestra Ana Díaz, a quienes les tenemos mucho cariño.

El ambiente fue muy agradable, cada niño debía ir con una franela roja o verde, los niños con gorros, las niñas con cintillos y lazos de navidad. El colegio estaba adornado muy bonito, con globos rojos y verdes, carteleras llamativas alusivas a esta época tan bonita del año. Hubo parrandones, cantos navideños y cada salón presentó su número musical. La coral también nos deleitó con su participación. Fue un momento muy emotivo, lleno de sonrisas y espíritu navideño. Gabriela lo disfrutó muchísimo, y yo me sentí feliz de verla tan contenta después de días tan difíciles.

Este es su último año en primaria y por eso cada actividad se disfruta mas. El próximo año comenzará una nueva etapa en primer año, donde las celebraciones cambian y por eso quisimos aprovechar al máximo este día. Estuvimos desde las 7:30 a.m. hasta las 11:00 a.m., ya que luego debía ir a la oficina a terminar un acta pendiente. Pero sin duda, fue una mañana inolvidable.

Y bueno amigos por este lado pese a las diferentes situaciones difíciles por las que estamos atravesando hacemos sacrificios para que nuestros hijos puedan disfrutar de estos momentos que alegran su espíritu. Gracias por siempre apoyarme en las historias de mi vida como mamá.

Today was a truly special day for Gabriela. After a difficult week in which she was very ill with the flu and fever, she was finally able to return to school to enjoy one of the most anticipated activities of the year, the party and the Christmas candy and dessert fair. It was truly a day full of joy, color, and Christmas spirit.

Last week she hardly attended classes and only began to feel better on Thursday. That same day and on Friday she had intense rehearsals in Juan Griego, as on Saturday, December 6, she had her lyrical performance, which she managed to do with a lot of effort and dedication, despite still recovering from her illness.

This week has been full of activities at school in the different classrooms. She couldn't attend yesterday, but today she didn't want to miss it for anything in the world. Tomorrow she will rest again and on Thursday she will return for her Christmas party, where they will have a gift exchange. Gabriela is very excited about it.

The fair was a complete success. Each child had to bring 10 portions of packaged sweets, and although I initially thought of making a black cake, due to a lack of some ingredients, I opted to make quesillos instead. And it was quite a challenge, because one quesillo wasn't enough for everyone, so I ended up making two so that I could also share with the teachers, the secretary, the elementary school coordinator, and of course, her former teacher Ana Diaz, whom we are very fond of.

The atmosphere was very pleasant. Each child had to wear a red or green shirt, the boys wore hats, and the girls wore headbands and Christmas bows. The school was beautifully decorated with red and green balloons and eye-catching posters alluding to this wonderful time of year. There were parties, Christmas carols, and each classroom presented a musical number. The choir also delighted us with their performance. It was a very emotional moment, full of smiles and Christmas spirit. Gabriela enjoyed it very much, and I was happy to see her so happy after such difficult days.

This is their last year in elementary school, which is why they enjoy every activity even more. Next year, they will begin a new stage in seventh grade, where celebrations change, so we wanted to make the most of this day. We were there from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., since I had to go to the office afterwards to finish some pending paperwork. But without a doubt, it was an unforgettable morning.

And well, friends, despite the various difficult situations we are going through, we make sacrifices so that our children can enjoy these moments that lift their spirits. Thank you for always supporting me in the stories of my life as a mom.
