The Net Grain Production of Wild Northeast, Great Lowlands & Shimmering Coast + Total Praetoria Overview

2024-01-14T10:20:12
Today we are looking at the final part of my Net Grain Production series, with focus on the three territories in the east of Praetoria: Wild Northeast, Great Lowlands & Shimmering Coast. Finally, we will take a look at the total amount of net Grain production in all Praetoria.
Let's Go!

For reference, here arr the previous parts of this series:

Wild Northeast

Total Grain Surplus/Deficit of Wild Northeast:
94,468 Grain per hour.
2,267,234 Grain per day.
15,870,641 Grain per week.
827,540,565 Grain per year.

Great Lowlands

Total Grain Surplus/Deficit of Great Lowlands:
146,754 Grain per hour.
3,522,095 Grain per day.
24,654,664 Grain per week.
1,285,564,611 Grain per year.

Shimmering Coast

Please note, that I cut out positions 151-329 from this leaderboard (those closest to a +/- 0 balance), as this post would have been otherwise too long for the HIVE blockchain. And I did not want to make a part 4. You can find those results below in the comments:

Total Grain Surplus/Deficit of Shimmering Coasts:
60,548 Grain per hour.
1,453,149 Grain per day.
10,172,045 Grain per week.
530,399,481 Grain per year.

Total Net Grain Production of Praetoria

Now that we have the data from all seven territories on Praetoria, let's put them all together, shall we? Keep in mind, that these stats are changing each time plots are activated, deactivated or changed, as well as when Dark Energy is removed or added. So all the numbers of this series are probably not 100% accurate any more, but should be very close to the actual amount. All the data was taken directly from the API and I have taken fresh data for this post, so it might differ slightly to part 1 and 2 of this series.
Additonally, it is also possible that some players forget to harvest before their capacity reaches 100% and some of their production gets burned. But let's just assume for now, that this is only happening in rare events and will not have any significant impact on the total numbers.
Without further ado, here is the net amount of Grain being produced, after ALL costs for Shard Mines, Research Huts, food and production taxes:
Ok, there you have it: We are producing 865,812 Net Grain per hour in total.
I guess that is a lot of Grain. This will likely be reflected by the price of it, especially when the Grain LP arrives. Which in return will probably lead to more Shard Mines and Research Huts being activated, while taking Grain Farms offline and creating a Grain deficit in production. Which will then reduce the amount of Grain again. So there is a certain degree of natural balancing here. The question is, how well that will work.
I hope @yabapmatt will take these numbers into account for his Land 2.0 plans. If it takes a year to get there, we will probably sit on billions of Grain by then. He is certainly aware that farming SPS and Research is the way to go right now, as his -7,048.673 Net Grain deficit demonstrates.
All, I am not concerned and happy to put plenty of Grain into upcoming Grain LP.
With that being said: Happy Farming!
