The last bit of the concrete work around the house is done. Although I posted about the throwing of the slab
here, I didn't illustrate exactly what a difference it's going to make to my life.

And to the whole house. Now, it - actually - the sandbags - should dry out and at last, I'll be able to repaint. Inside at out.
But B wasn't done. He had promised a retaining wall, and two weeks' later - on Workers' Day - their choice - the retaining wall and steps to the washing line miraculously happened.

Having a leg step up, is a life-changer.

Now, I cannot wait for the internal work to start. B's got other big jobs and a few monkeys to deal with, so my "little big job" has to happen in between. That said, the exterior painting and the new window must happen before the winter storms and rain arrive.
Ooops!
It's just occurred to me that I keep on referring to other developments like everyone knows what's planned, and I've not explained. Sorry!
Watch this space, I'll remedy that. Soon.
Until next time
