Hi all.
I took a bunch of old sterling coins to my local shop to liquidate and replace with bullion.
I was told he wont buy any old Canadian sets until the big refineries open up to sterling again.
So, I spied a nice old RCM bar and bought it, and took my sterling coins home.

I don't know the date, but Im guessing 1980's.

Another option is to take this to my local assay office. They have a tiny refinery and told me a while back, they could pour me a brick of 9999 silver from scrap sterling. But I'll probably just chuck it back in the safe amd forget about it for now.
Anyways, the local shops are being over run by people selling silver. And I was told people call and ask if he has gold every morning, and if he gets any gold in, it's all gone by the end of the day.
