Growing up as a kid, I watched so many movies with fight scenes, and this made me believe I could beat up anyone who would try to double-cross me. My mind was already getting built to love fighting, and this made me want to see people fight or see other people do something to hurt other people. This begins the birth of violence in my heart, and I can say that it is like that for many children out there today.

Good morning, lovely people. My name is Fashtioluwa, and today I will be sharing with you things you should look out for so violence doesn't grow in your heart or in the heart of the children or people around you. Sit back and have a great read.
The thought of violence in our world today is truly disheartening. As I try to think about its possible causes, impacts, and potential solutions, I can't help but feel a sense of urgency to address this pressing issue that affects individuals of all ages, from children to adults, and even entire countries.

Violence can be caused by several factors, such as our society that glorifies aggression, lack of access to proper education and opportunities, mental health issues that can make people violent, poverty, and even exposure to violence in the media. These influences can shape individuals' minds or behavior, and this can lead to harmful actions where a cycle of violence is born.
The impact of violence is profound and far-reaching. It has eaten so deep into our system that people often look out for violence to help make their day. Violence not only causes physical harm and leads to loss of lives but also leaves emotional scars that can last a lifetime even if you are not directly involved in it. Communities torn apart by violence experience a breakdown of trust and a sense of fear that lingers long after the actual violent acts have occurred.

An example is the old misunderstanding between the people of Modakeke and Ife. There is a violent relationship among the people of this community, and this happened a long time ago during the dispute over the lands. The young people of Modakeke beat the young people of Ife when they came to the land they both claimed was rightfully theirs. The youth of Ife retaliated, and this led to the loss of lives and property. The government had to intervene, but the violence that had been born in the hearts of the people still burns, waiting for the day they would enact their revenge.

Finding a way out of this cycle of violence requires a multi-faceted approach. It starts with promoting non-violent conflict resolution methods, fostering empathy and understanding, providing mental health support, addressing socio-economic disparities, and advocating for stricter gun control laws where applicable. I love the fact that my country put a strict control on guns, and not everyone or anyone can own one. Education plays a crucial role in preventing violence by instilling values of respect, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence from a young age.
As individuals, we can contribute to creating a more peaceful world by being mindful of our own actions and words, by standing up against violence in all its forms, and by supporting initiatives that aim to address the root causes of violence. By working together as a global community, we can strive towards a world where peace prevails and violence becomes a thing of the past.

As parent we should be mindful of the kind of movies, cartoon we allow our young children to watch. We should make them watch shows that has moral lessons, shows that can help build a positive characters in them which will help them become people that can be presented to the society.
