Growing up i and my playmates used to be fascinated about airplanes... The mechanism... Massive birds that do not flap their wings, yet fly. Some would make deafening noise(s), some just little noise, some silent, as they made their way through the skyline, above our heads. I'm still as fascinated as ever...
