Another frequently used function in excel and gsheets is the PRODUCT function. It is the counterpart of the mathematical formula of multiplication.
Function Type: Math and Trigonometry
Description:
Multiplies its arguments. Mathematically, this is the function we use to multiply set of numbers in Excel or GSheets.
Function Structure:
=PRODUCT(number1, [number2]).
Argument Breakdown:
number1 - The first number or range to multiply.
[number2] - The second number or range to multiply. The square brackets wrapping the argument means this is optional. The function can work with just 1 argument.
