I do not know what to write about the New Year decorations of the city. It was a shoot on assignment: to take pictures of the city's Christmas decorations. I went and photographed the Christmas decorations without much enthusiasm.
Of course, I tried to make it as interesting as possible, or vice versa, I made the frame as it is...straight and without tricks. Almost deadpan, but not.
When there is no snow, when light figures are reflected in puddles, then the attitude to all this is appropriate.
Winter, what are you doing? Is it like last year again? Oh, no, don't!
Last year, there were some innovations in decorating the city for the new year. There are none this year.
This time, all the figures with light bulbs were shuffled and scattered to different parts of the city.
If there used to be a bear here, for example, now it has moved to another neighborhood.
Something remained in its place.
I have a desire to take a good picture of all the decorations for the new year, but this time it was somehow not.
I still want to take pictures of New Year's Cherepovets, but do it before the new year.
After the new year, it is contraindicated to capture all this illumination, as it will cause a gag reflex.
There may be a small chance to film and show something during the New Year holidays, but this is for luck and high risk.
That's because the entire news feed is already littered with these decorations: after all, they try to take pictures of them immediately after installation, and in some cases they are installed almost in the middle of November.
So what is the chance of approval and positive feedback for a post with glowing figures after the new year? The only one is the old new year.
...The same Christmas trees, the same dights...except for the last one.
And there is no snow.
And when it falls out and brings beauty around, then all these previous pictures with decorations will become meaningless and merciless.
