When we are speaking of the blessings of God, rain is one of the significant blessings.
Rain is very important for farming which in turn brings food for man.
God gave the Isrealites rain for their farming season so that they can have a
bountiful harvest.
"That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil." KJV
The rain is important for the farmer in order for him to reap the rewards from planting. If there is no rain, there is no
harvest for the farmer.
